Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager/Business Analyst to join our remote team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for both product management and business analysis, ensuring that our product vision is translated into actionable requirements and successfully implemented by our development team. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs, define product features, and manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch.

Daily Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy:

Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business and customer impact.

Requirements Gathering:

Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
Create functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Develop wireframes, flowcharts, and other visual aids to communicate processes and system interactions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure designs meet business and user requirements.
Collaborate with developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and features.
Communicate product progress, updates, and changes to stakeholders and team members.

Project Management:

Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond.
Prioritize tasks, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables are met.
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the final product meets quality standards and business requirements.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience:

Proven experience in product management and business analysis, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
Strong background in gathering and documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications.

Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).

Knowledge:

Understanding of agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
