Project Manager
Job Description
As a Project Manager at Azora, you will play a crucial role in guiding our project from inception to launch and beyond. You will be responsible for defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, creating detailed project plans, and managing resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. You will also be responsible for tracking hours and managing pay to ensure work is completed efficiently and within budget. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, designers, and developers to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Daily Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met.
Team Coordination:
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and track progress.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Track team members' hours and manage pay to ensure work is completed efficiently and within budget.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks promptly.
- Ensure quality assurance and project deliverables meet the required standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project status, updates, and any changes to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for all project-related communications.
Continuous Improvement:
- Implement best practices in project management and continuously seek to improve processes.
- Gather feedback from team members and stakeholders to enhance future project performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant methodologies and tools.
Requirements
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development or a related field.
- Strong background in managing remote teams and projects.
- Experience in the social media or technology sector is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
